Erg Chegaga Desert Tour from Agadir Overview :

Escape the crowds and set off on a unique desert adventure from Agadir to the lesser-known Erg Chigaga dunes. Nestled in the southeast of Morocco near the Algerian border, this hidden gem lies more than 60 kilometers from the nearest town, M’hamid. Unlike the popular Erg Chebbi dunes, Erg Chigaga offers a vast, wild, and untouched desert experience, far from mass tourism. This desert tour from Agadir promises an authentic and immersive journey. Travel through stunning landscapes, including the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, the lush palm groves of the Draa Valley, and the rugged rocky desert terrain, before arriving at the magnificent Erg Chigaga dunes. Experience the Sahara like never before: ride camels across golden sands, climb majestic dunes, and let the fine sand flow through your fingers. As the sun sets, enjoy the magical desert atmosphere while resting in cozy nomad tents or under a blanket of stars. While Erg Chebbi in Merzouga is more frequented and lined with hotels, Erg Chigaga remains an unspoiled oasis. Here, you can disconnect completely and immerse yourself in the serenity and beauty of the desert, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
