4 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga Itinerary:
Day 1: Marrakech - Ait benhadou - Ouarzazate - Skoura - Dades gorge
We will depart Marrakech in the morning and embark on a thrilling journey through the stunning Tizi n'Tichka pass in the High Atlas mountains, where we will reach an altitude of 2260m. Our initial destination is the picturesque village of Ait Benhaddou, which is renowned for its fortified ksar and stunning Kasbahs. This historic location has served as a natural backdrop for numerous films, which only serves to heighten its appeal.
Our journey to Dades valley continues after a delicious lunch, as we pass through the captivating city of Ouarzazate, the picturesque Valley of Roses, and the palm groves of Skoura. We will spend our first night in Dades Valley to allow you to unwind and appreciate the breathtaking scenery.
Day 2 : Dades Gorge - Todra Gorge - Erfoud - Risani- Merzouga
We start our journey after breakfast by travelling to the stunning Dades Gorges . Next, we will proceed to Tineghir, which is renowned for its picturesque palm grove. We continue our 4 days sahara desert tour until we arrive at the stunning Todgha Gorge , where we embark on a thrilling hike through the towering canyons that reach a height of approximately 300 meters. This location is a favourite among mountain climbers.
We will then proceed to Merzouga, where we will pause for lunch in Tinjdad. Subsequently, we will continue our desert tour by passing through Erfoud, which is renowned for its fossils. Upon our arrival at the dunes, you will embark on one-hour camel ride to your desert camp. See the beautiful sunset over the dunes, then get to the camp where you'll be greeted with Moroccan tea. Settle into your tent, enjoy the beautiful starry desert sky, have dinner, and stay the night.
Day 3: Merzouga - Alnif - Tazarine - Agdez - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou
Awake early to witness the stunning sunrise over the dunes , capturing the magical colors of the desert. After a delicious breakfast, enjoy a camel ride back to the dune line, where you’ll meet your driver and return to the main road. Next, we head to the remarkable Ait Ben Haddou, passing through Rissani with its famous traditional souks, and the scenic Draa Valley, lined with endless palm groves.
Arrive in the evening at the historic Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its ancient architecture and timeless charm. Check into your hotel and soak in the enchanting atmosphere of this iconic village.
Day 4: Ait Benhaddou - Telouet - High Atlas - Marrakech
We depart from Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco's most iconic fortified villages, at 9:00 a.m. Before proceeding to Marrakech, investigate its intriguing architecture and antiquated alleys.
En route, we visit the Kasbah el Glaoui , a historic site that was once the residence of influential tribal leaders, in the traditional Berber village of Telouet. As you traverse the stunning High Atlas Mountains , you will be treated to picturesque Berber villages, winding passes, and timeless charm of Ait Ben Haddou. This journey seamlessly integrates Morocco's natural splendour with its rich history.

Private Desert Tour:
The price varies depending on the number of travelers, the season and accommodation choice, it can start from 350€ per person for groups and families to 525€ per person for couples
Small Group Desert tour:
the price for the shared group tour is fixed at 350€ per person, it might seem a bit higher than some so called "similar" offers in the market but do not be fooled, our groups are limited to 8 people max and require only 4 participants to start. The small number makes the tour quite similar to a private one with flexibility, same quality accommodation choice and attention from the company, hotels and driver.

1. What's the difference between private and shared tour?
The main differences between private and shared tours are the vehicle, you will only be sharing the transportation, rooms and tents are private, and even for meals you can chose to stay separated from the group if that is your preference. The other difference is that private tours are guaranteed, once you confirm your booking, we are commited to offer the tour, however shared tours depend on demand and require a minimum of 4 participants to run, if the minimum number is not met, you have the choice between a free cancellation or negotiate a deal to continue as a private tour.
2. Is it possible to have vegetarian/vegan food ?
Yes it is possile to provide vegetarian or vegan food during the tour, all you need is to let us know during the booking process and maybe remind your driver during the tour.
3. Is it possible to reach the camp without riding the camels?
Yes the camp has a dedicated 4x4 car to transport the luggage and clients who are not interested in riding the camels at all or at least do it only once. If you go on a private tour, you will be traveling in a comfortable 4x4 car that can access the camp if needed.
4. Does the camp have private bathrooms ?
Yes our camp is considered a luxury camp yet we include it in our basic packages without a significant raise in the price, all the tents are equipped with ensuite bathroom and showers
5. Can I take my luggage during the tour?
Yes, you can take your luggage during the tour, the vehicles are spacious enough to hold many big suitecases, and your luggage will be with you at all times so it's safe, even in the desert, your luggage will be transported to the camp with a 4x4 car to the tents.

To confirm any tour or activity, we require a small deposit to be paid over PayPal to our Group Creator, the balance is due in cash at the pick up, to be paid to your driver in euros or equivalent in dirhams
Credit cards :
Unfortunately we do not accept payments with credit cards because they are not very popluar nor practical in Morocco and they generate so many fees and hold some security risks
Is it possible to pay the total with PayPal:
Normally we ask for the balance payments in cash because paypal also has many transaction fees and operational delays since it's an international institution. We can in some cases accept the full payment via paypal however a 5% fee will be applied to cover the extra transaction charges. In case you are considering this method, it is best to arrange the payment before the tour.
