High Atlas, Glaoui Kasbahs and Fint Oasis

You will be picked up from your accommodation and leave the busy city behind and head east toward the desert.  Drive through the High Atlas mountains "Tizi n´Tishka" Pass (2260 m), traversing unique landscapes with magnificent colors with stops at multiple beautiful panoramas for pictures. After the pass, we will take the turn to the Kasbah of Telouet to visit a fascinating and surprising castle that belonged to the former Pasha of Marrakech. Then, we will continue down the colorful Ounila valley, our way to Ait Ben Haddou; classified as a UNESCO World Heritage. This caravan halt village offers beautiful sights and embodies the traditional Berber architecture. Our next highlight is the ancient Kasbah Tifoultout, a fortress that was held by the family of Thami El Glaoui, Pasha of Marrakech from 1912 to 1956. We will continue our trip to the Oasis Fint, where you will spend the night in a traditional Kasbah.

After breakfast, you will visit the inner of the Fint Oasis and have the opportunity to participate in the daily tribal life by joining your host at the village headmaster’s house for a cup of tea! The Oasis of Fint benefits from a special microclimate maintained by an open-air irrigation system. It is organized around a fair distribution of irrigation water and cultivable land. Afterwards, we will return to Ouarzazate to visit Film Studios & Taourirt Kasbahs. Discover how the area has been featured in movies, including Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and Black Hawk Down. On our way back to Marrakech will stop for lunch in one of the local restaurants or arrange a picnic lunch with your driver. In the afternoon, we will drive you back to Marrakech via the Atlas Mountains, which brings an end to your Marrakech 2 Days Tour to Pacha Glaoui's Kasbahs, High Atlas and Fint Oasis. Drop off in your accommodation around 6 p.m.
