Agafay Desert Glamping Experience

We will start our Imlil day trip at 09 a.m. from Marrakech and drive south up the Moulay Brahim Gorges, and the Berber village of Asni, which is very popular for its weekly market every Saturday. Stop in Asni village and take a tour through the local weekly market of Asni, find your way through the crowd of the local Berbers, pouring from all the surrounding villages to exchange goods, animals and buy fresh vegetables, fruits and meat for their homes. We will take a small mountain-pass to arrive in Ouirgane, then enter in the canyons of the N’Fis Valley. A magnificent view of the surrounding area will be seen from the mountain-track. Arrive at a berber house, where we will stop for lunch. Continue to Takerkoust lake, built in the the French protectorate era. Lalla Takerkoust lac provides electricity to the region of Marrakech. It has also enabled the creation of a very pleasant artificial lake. Stop to stretch your legs and take some pictures before we continue to Agafay Desert. Arrive in Agafay Desert Camp and check in to your Tent for a fresh Mint tea with some delicious Moroccan pastries. After sunset, a magical and unforgettable private dinner will be served. The menu will include a Moroccan soup, salads, three hot dishes, three kinds of Moroccan tajines, and a dessert consisting of seasonal fruits. Spend the rest of the evening by the charming campfire, gazing at the beautiful stars in the sky.

In the morning, you may want to get up extra early to watch the sunrise over the extensive, silent Desert of Agafay. Then enjoy a Moroccan breakfast with incredible vistas beyond the High Atlas before you head out for some fun-filled desert activities. Return to Marrakech. Head back to Marrakech around 11H00 AM and admire different landscapes on the way. Drop off at your accommodation.
