Morocco's Historic Tour from Tangier

Arrival in Tangier your private driver will pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel. Free afternoon to spend it at your leisure.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Tangier after breakfast and drive through the Rif mountains to Chefchaouen, enjoy the scenic route, stopping along the way to admire the views and to stretch your legs. Stop in Tetouen, enter the medina through Bab el Okla and continue on for a walking tour of the old town. See Jewish section, the Andalusian section, the Berber market, the ladies market and Guersa el Kbira. After lunch in Tetouen we will head to the charming chefchaouen known for its blue-washed buildings in its historic medina, explore its maze-like narrow streets and alleyways which cling to the northern hillside.

Spend the morning to exploring more Chefchaouen before leaving to Meknes. Enjoy a light walk to Ras El Ma or hike to the Spanish mosque and enjoy one last view over Chefchaouen. Lunch will be on route to Volubiis. Leave the Rif mountains behind and head to the Roman Ruins of Volubiiis. Stop and stretch your legs, meet up your local guide to visit the  roman ruins a UNESCO protected site, founded in the 3rd century BCE. Continue to Meknes, upon arriving in Meknes, settle into your accommodation and have a free evening to spend at your leisure.

The morning is devoted to discover the historical 17th century’s heritage, and the marvelous Ismailia capital Meknes. Meet your local guide and see the huge walls of the old Medina, see the fascinating gate of Bab El Mansour.. After lunch and the visit of Meknes we will head to the oldest of the imperial cities in Morocco. Arrive in Fes check in your Hotel and free afternoon.

Meet your guide in your Riad/Hotel at 09am and start the visit of “the oldest living Medina in the world”. Start at the gateway of the Royal Palace and the Blue Gate " Bab Boujloud ".  Explore the twisting streets of the old Medina, Madrasa Bounania, the elegant Nejjarine Fountain & Musuem and the pungent Chouara Tannery...You will have free afternoon to spend at your leisure. Leave Fes behind and venture north to the imperial city (and present-day capital) of Rabat. Check in your Hotel, sip some Morroccan mint tea before joining the guided tour of the Moroccan Capital. Explore the medieval fortification of the Chellah Necropolis and wander the Roman and Islamic ruins. Enter through the grand door of the Kasbah des Oudaias into Rabat's old city center. Visit the 20th-century Andalusian Gardens and the Hassan Tower, a minaret of the incomplete mosque and Mausoleum of Mohamed V.

Leave Rabat behind and drive along the coast to Casablanca,  our first stop is the imposing Hassan II Mosque, which boasts the world's tallest minaret. Afterwards we will go for lunch in one of the Restaurant at the beach promenade that follows the Atlantic coast "Ain Diab " and is sometimes referred to as Morocco's Miami After lunch, it's back on the road; we will take the motor way to Marrakech, nicknamed the Red City for the vermillion-hued clay used to construct its buildings. Check into your riad and free time to spend it at your leisure.

You will be picked up from your hotel at 09am, meet your guide and start your Guided city tour of Marrakech, visit The Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Medrassa Ben Youssef, see the Koutoubia Mosque from outside  Souks and Jamaa el Fna Square. Depending on the time of your departure flight, you may be able to do some last-minute sightseeing, get some souvenirs before your leave to the airport.
